This is my adaptation of the morris chair. I like to call it the MOMO, a modern morris chair. The dimensions have been modified to accomodate a more relaxing and meditative posture. This idea for a meditation chair came from a dear friend of mine in Raleigh, whom I called MO for short. See MOMO makes more sense now. Being a naturopath and meditation counselor he urged me to design a large chair in which one could comfortably sit, cross their legs and rest their head back. Since I am a big fan of the Arts&Crafts movement I built a bent arm morris chair from his suggested dimensions.
